A Really nice Restaurant - which I recommend

I'd visited Sergio's as Bistro en Glaze was previously called many times over the years, and had enjoyed many pleasant meals there. The restaurant has now been refurbished. It seems much lighter and more open inside. The menu has also altered, and now offers a wider range of dishes. In fact so wide was the range of dishes that it seemed to take us (myself and three friends) a considerable time to select what we wanted. The starters, I had field mushroom with stilton and bacon, were all beautifully presented and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. As a main course, I had Chicken Cacciatore with Cous Cous and a mint jelly which was excellent. we all had desserts from the blackboard, (I had cheese and biscuits -which I can recommend), and coffee. We'd all had a drink before the meal and we had two bottles of good Australian Chardonnay with our meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The bill came to about £90.00. I know there are restaurants where I can eat more cheaply, but I'd happily revisit this one as the food was exceptionally good.
